My name is Aiden Carlson, and I'm a lifelong runner with experience at every level of the sport. From being a nationally ranked high school athlete, to competing in Division I Track & Cross Country, to coaching multiple national championship teams, and experience working as a personal trainer, I've dedicated my life to understanding running from the inside out. Whether you're training for your first 5K, chasing a college scholarship, working towards qualifying for Boston, or training to qualify for the Olympic trials, I have the skills and knowledge to help runners of all levels reach their goals.
Based in Park City, Utah, I've been privileged to run thousands of miles alongside Olympians Grant Fisher and Conner Mantz. My close friendships with these athletes have given me rare insight into what makes the world's best performers excel — wisdom that I now share with my athletes to elevate their own training.

My own running journey began humbly. In high school, I started with 22-minute 5Ks, but through hard work and guidance from my coaches, I developed into a nationally ranked runner, clocking 14:59 in the 5000m on the track as a senior. I was then recruited to run at BYU, eventually transferring to Arizona State, and Portland State. In college I had the privilege of training under seven different distance coaches. This unique experience gave me a deep appreciation for different coaching philosophies and the ability to adapt and create programs that meet athletes exactly where they are.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, and I use that foundation daily when designing evidence-based, individualized training programs. I take pride in combining science with the practical lessons I've learned as both an athlete and coach.
From 2023-2025 I worked on the coaching staff at Salt Lake Community College. While there, we won 5 national team championships in Cross Country and the Half Marathon. I also helped guide many individual national champions including Jaquavious Harris, NJCAA record holder in the 5000m in 13:40. He also was the two time Cross Country national champion and won national titles in the 5000m, Mile, and 3000m. Jaquavious is now a professional runner for Saucony.
No matter your starting point or goal, as your personal coach, I am dedicated to helping you reach new heights in your running journey.
